Right now I want to cry. Again. There are these girls at school. We’ll call them Coco and Jasmine. This year, I became friends with this one group of girls and we sit at lunch together just about every day. Coco and Jasmine don’t really like some of (2) the girls in the group.
Earlier this year, Coco and Jasmine were being really mean to us so a few of us including me went to see the school counselor. Coco and Jasmine had been making fun of us and insulting us in horrible ways. One time when they made fun of us, I stood up to them and said to them that they shouldn’t sit with us at lunch just to make fun of us for their enjoyment. They didn’t get the message and even threatened to slap me.The counselor had told us she would talk to Coco and Jasmine. She did and things were calm for a while. My friends and I thought it was over and the mean girls understood how we felt.
Yesterday, things started up again. My friends and I were at lunch. They were all buying and I had packed so I had to save our table for them. Coco, Jasmine, and another girl we’ll call Dalilah came and sat with me. When my friends came back, we had to move. There wasn’t enough room at the table they had moved to so I went to another group of girls I was friends with. I sat with them until they all left. (We have half of lunch to go to the library, go to the gym if there is no class ect.) I know they didn’t mean to leave me but they had a report to rehearse in one of their classes which I had already done. My group of friends came over and we were doing just fine until guess who came over. You got it Jasmine, Coco, and Dalilah. They threw more insults at me and my friends while Dalilah just sat there and laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world.
We decided to go see the counselor again but she was teaching a class so we couldn’t. We went to the gym and hung out together. My two friends went to see if they could find another one of the counselors (we have 3. why? i really dont know.) I hung back and stayed with a girl we’ll call Kacey. She’s very nice and was my first friend when I first came to my current school. She understood my problem with Jasmine and the others. Then, Dalilah came and asked why we didn’t like them? I explained to her that I really don’t know why my two friends disliked Jasmine and Coco in the first place but the insults are why I don’t like them. Anyways, how in the world can I/we make them just leave us alone?
Happy Halloween!
i also posted this under the “friends” category but it wasnt getting any hits so…
